About Saw You At Sinai Saw You At Sinai was created in December 2003 to satisfy the need for a more private and personalized approach to online Jewish dating.

In 2008, after conversations with YU President Richard M. David Pelcovitz, the Gwendolyn and Joseph Straus Chair in Psychology and Jewish Education at YU’s Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration, YU’s Center for the Jewish Future (CJF) pooled its unique resources to create a program with a multi-faceted approach to the age-old issue of meeting a mate.

The result was YUConnects, a program that offers multiple opportunities for YU students and alumni to meet.

“It makes sense since the same goal – to further the Jewish future - unites the two organizations”.

The goal of the partnership, to enable singles to meet and form relationships in a comfortable and healthy way, is a crucial first step in the Center for the Jewish Future’s mission to build “strong and vibrant communities”.
